What is a Swing Bed?
A swing-bed is a service that rural hospitals and Critical Access Hospitals can provide to patients, which allows them to transition from acute care to Skilled Nursing care without leaving the hospital. This allows us to keep our patients in one place, without needing to transfer back and forth between hospitals and nursing facilities. Rural Wellness Anadarko is a proud swing-bed provider, giving our rural patients access to all the services they need while remaining close to home.
