Pricing Transparency
Transparent healthcare pricing is extremely important to us and to our patients. Please note that prices offered are estimates only – procedure costs will vary based on your specific circumstances including health insurance status and changes in coverage; length of time spent in the hospital; additional tests or procedures ordered by your physician; or any unforeseen conditions or circumstances surrounding your care or recovery.
If you have health insurance and would like a price estimate, please contact your insurance provider by calling the telephone number on the back of your health insurance member card or by visiting their website. The Affordable Care Act requires health insurance companies to provide pricing information to their customers, including both the hospital portion as well as the physician services. Please see below for a list of our standard charges and shoppable services.
Standard Charges
Rural Wellness Anadarko uses a chargemaster to determine its standard charge for services and supplies associated with patient care/treatment. The “chargemaster” is a comprehensive list of prices established by the hospital for services and supplies used during individual patient treatment. This list reflects standard charges and may not reflect actual patient balance since payment rates are negotiated with health plans, predetermined by the federal government for Medicare or set by the state government for Medicaid participants. Further, uninsured patients are not generally expected to pay the hospitals standard charges in the chargemaster and may be eligible for financial assistance.
Shoppable Services
Prices on the shoppable services list represent the standard amount for each service and do not represent the actual amount the patient will pay. The actual amount will depend on application of insurance contract/benefit plan discounts or self-pay discounts, which are dependent on each patient’s benefit plan terms. Shoppable services are defined as health care services that consumers can schedule in advance, at a time that is convenient for them.
This list defines each shoppable service by a service category and displays the estimated total charge, categorized by plan terms. Additionally, each shoppable service is identified by a common service billing code.
